"I want to stop the sunrise and hide in the dark"
came up with this during (another) bad day... I had put this in my MSN-nick at the time and today I finally did the pic (I felt the time was right for it)

heightened the contrast and added some blur in PS

The concept is great by the way. I also wish that the sunrise would linger a lot of times.

Nice photo. I really like it alot. I can relate to it. Somehow inside me, it highlights my version of peace and anxiety.

This is an excellent composition, it makes great use of light, shadows and contrast to convey a mood of brooding contemplation. I see you put it under “Emotive Portraits” and it's a perfect fit in that section, because this piece is emotive photography indeed.

i wanted to take it earlier in the morning, but i never managed to get up quite so early to get the first sunrays, so i shot it in the midst of the morning. the light works really well though :)

thank you very for commenting on my emotive portrait ;P
